About Whitney
Whitney Charbonneau is a seasoned educator and a maven of creating order from chaos. She is a lover of beautiful learning spaces and a believer in the power of intentional design to foster growth. Whitney brings a uniquely multi-layered perspective to her passion for creating the right conditions for little humans to grow, which she knows is never one-size-fits all. Whitney takes joy in connecting with families, working to understand broader values, priorities, and challenges at play to support both children and caretakers.

Her decade of wide-ranging experience in elementary education spans learning approaches across the US. She served with Teach for America, teaching elementary education in one of the most underfunded districts in Baltimore City. She was then recruited to teach math at a Brooklyn charter school where her students went on to record-breaking success. Later, she joined a small Montessori school in San Francisco. In recent years, Whitney has shifted her work to become deeply embedded within individual family contexts, designing and overseeing tailored one-on-one learning approaches.

Whitney earned a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University, her Master’s in Elementary Education from Johns Hopkins, and is AMI Montessori certified. She is a mom of two who recently moved home to Princeton, New Jersey to be closer to her people in the place that raised her.
